The Digital Working Capital Note (WCN) solution has achieved a major success at the Trade Treasury Payments (TTP) Corporate Excellence Awards 2026.
The Digital Working Capital Note (WCN) solution that Şişecam developed in collaboration with Faturalab, Isbank UK and ETR Digital has achieved a major success at the Trade Treasury Payments (TTP) Corporate Excellence Awards 2026, held for the first time this year in London.
The solution was named runner-up in the “Best Use of Working Capital Solutions” category. Judges decided the award through a blind judging process that kept entrants’ identities confidential to preserve impartiality, selecting the winner from 188 entries.
This placement marks the second international recognition the same solution has earned in just three weeks. Having recently been awarded Highly Commended at the EuroFinance Treasury Excellence Awards 2026, the Working Capital Note has once again confirmed its standing on the international stage.
What makes these two awards meaningful is that the same financial solution was evaluated from two separate areas of expertise and reached a shared success.
EuroFinance approached the project through the lens of treasury management, while TTP assessed it directly from a trade finance perspective.
Both independent bodies described the Digital Working Capital Note as a groundbreaking innovation in its own field.
At its core, the Working Capital Note represents the technological transformation of a long-established financial infrastructure.
The negotiable commercial instrument, run on paper for centuries, has become a digital asset that is issued, transferred and financed entirely online through the WCN. The system works in full integration with companies’ existing workflows and the corporate software they already use.
The point the TTP judges particularly emphasised was that the instrument has not remained at a concept or pilot stage but is in direct, live use in the field. This proves that digital trade instruments have moved beyond theory into a fully working infrastructure.
This success was made possible by every stakeholder in the project directing their own expertise toward a single goal.
Within the architecture, Isbank UK contributed its financing strength, Faturalab its digital platform infrastructure, and ETR Digital its technological capability. The Şişecam team, as the architect and driving force of the project, turned this vision into a working system.
As Faturalab, we warmly congratulate the teams at Şişecam, Isbank UK and ETR Digital who contributed to this valuable achievement.
We are proud to be part of a structure that is carrying digital trade finance into the future.
