The Working Capital Notes™ programme that Şişecam delivered in collaboration with Faturalab, ETR Digital and İşbank UK has been named Highly Commended in the Financing & Liquidity category at the EuroFinance Treasury Excellence Awards 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious corporate treasury events.
EuroFinance, part of The Economist Group, is recognised as one of the most respected global platforms in corporate treasury. Its Treasury Excellence Awards assess projects that stand out for treasury innovation, execution excellence and strategic value creation.
The Highly Commended distinction is the most recent sign of the interest the Working Capital Notes™ structure has drawn in international finance circles. The same structure was previously named by Global Trade Review (GTR) among the standout financing transactions of the year.
This recognition reflects the technical success of the financing model together with the international acknowledgement of the strategic contribution it makes to companies’ working capital management.
The Working Capital Notes™ programme applied in Şişecam’s treasury operations turns buyer-approved trade receivables into digital and transferable financing instruments.
Within the programme, Faturalab provided the digital platform and orchestration layer that manages the entire financing process. ETR Digital made the Working Capital Notes™ structure possible through its Flownote™ technology. İşbank UK financed the programme, supporting suppliers’ access to earlier liquidity.
Through this structure, Şişecam can manage its working capital more flexibly while suppliers gain access to earlier liquidity. It shows what becomes possible when corporate treasury, banking and digital trade finance come together around a shared purpose, delivering scalable liquidity through a cross-border and fully digital structure.
